{"id":25831,"date":"2025-11-24T13:32:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T13:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tlc.eu\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=25831"},"modified":"2025-12-03T08:50:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T08:50:13","slug":"comprehensive-system-of-aircraft-maintenance-platforms","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/tlc.eu\/fr\/projets\/systemes-de-passerelles-pour-lindustrie\/comprehensive-system-of-aircraft-maintenance-platforms\/","title":{"rendered":"Syst\u00e8me complet de plates-formes de maintenance a\u00e9ronautique\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For one of Europe\u2019s leading aircraft manufacturers, TLC developed a set of three service platforms designed directly on the basis of the client\u2019s technical documentation and adapted to the specific requirements of aircraft maintenance operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project scope \u2013 three coordinated service platforms\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Main service platform \u2013 safe operation at the required height\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The central working platform, serving as the primary maintenance area, was equipped with:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>access stairs with handrails on both sides,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>protective railings and side guards,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an anti-slip working surface in <strong>RAL 7040<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recessed deck lighting,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>access from two sides \u2014 from the front and the side.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>All steel components were coated with anti-corrosion finishes in <strong>RAL 7035, RAL 9016 and RAL 3001<\/strong>, selected for environments operating near coastal conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Mobile platform \u2013 flexible positioning and smooth adjustment\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This platform is intended for maintenance tasks requiring frequent changes of position. It incorporates:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>rotating locking arms securing the working position,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>bushings and slide bearings ensuring smooth movement,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>gas springs supporting adjustment,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>opening side service platforms increasing the working range.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>These features make it possible to precisely position the platform in various aircraft fuselage zones.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Segmental platform \u2013 efficient transport and fast assembly\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The third platform was designed as a modular structure suitable for long-distance transport:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ability to be divided into <strong>six segments<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>bolted connections,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>anti-corrosion coating ensuring durability during storage and operation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This solution simplifies logistics and allows accurate reassembly at the place of use.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical solutions engineered for aviation environments\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n<p>Each platform is equipped with features that enhance safety and operational efficiency:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>suspended guiding system enabling linear movement,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>additional counterweights increasing overall stability,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>foot brake integrated with the running gear,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>circumferential welds improving resistance to corrosion,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>anti-slip working surfaces and recessed lighting.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>All components were produced on time and in accordance with the highest quality standards.
