TLC spiral stairs and technical platform projected in Frederiksværk, Denmark

The construction of the TLC spiral stairs with the technical platform went to Frederiksværk, Denmark.

Contracting authority – NCC AS Dania
Investor – NLMK DanSteel

The order concerned the design of the structure along with all calculations and the preparation of a complete report on static calculations.

The 10 linear meter high spiral stairs and the 48 linear meter long platform were hot-dip galvanized.
The main investor – the company NLMK DanSteel, produces hot rolled plates of structural steel for construction, bridge construction, wind industry (onshore / offshore), shipbuilding, boilers and pressure vessels and transport.

The structure of the industrial stairs was made of steel S235 / S355. Additionally, they were equipped with:

• 3 intermediate platformsV
• railing type TLC INDUS
• steps (filling with welded platform grating)

The industrial platform is made of S235 / S355 steel and is equipped with a double-sided industrial railing and filled with a welded platform grating.

TLC spiral stairs are characterized by a light structure, thanks to this their assembly is easy. Thanks to the appropriate anti-corrosion protection, they can be used not only as internal stairs – they will also work well outside the building.
