TUP – crane loading platform

TUP crane loading platforms provide a dedicated unloading area for materials delivered by crane to multi-storey construction sites. They support unloading, material handling and short-term storage, helping you keep work zones organised and improve the flow of materials throughout the project.

With a load capacity of up to 4,000 kg and three widths – 1.25 m, 1.50 m and 2.20 m – you can select a crane loading platform to suit your project requirements.

Developed and manufactured by TLC, the range includes the TUP S standard version and the TUP FL version with folding guardrails for compact transport and storage.

Key features:

  • Load capacity of up to 4,000 kg – supports crane-assisted loading, unloading and handling of construction materials on multi-storey construction sites.
  • Compliance with PN-EN 12811-1 – both versions comply with the standard specified for TUP crane loading platforms.
  • Three nominal platform widths – 1.25 m, 1.50 m and 2.20 m, allowing you to select a crane loading platform to suit your project requirements.
  • Two installation methods – installation between building tiers or anchoring to the slab gives you a choice of mounting methods to suit site conditions.
  • Two guardrail configurations – both versions are available with or without sheet metal guardrail infill panels. The sheet metal panels can feature your company logo, increasing brand visibility on site.
  • Branding options – the platforms can be painted in various colours to match your company branding.

TUP S – Standard crane loading platform

  • Bolted construction – can be disassembled into components for on-site assembly, helping reduce transport volume.
  • Flexible transport and storage – transport assembled or disassembled; assembled platforms can be stacked up to 3 high during storage and 2 high during transport.
  • Corrosion protection – hot-dip galvanisation and powder coating protect steel components in construction site conditions.
  • Dedicated fall protection attachment points – allow personal fall protection equipment to be attached where required by site procedures and risk assessment.

TUP FL- Folding crane loading platform

  • Folding guardrails – fold down to create a compact configuration for transport and storage.
  • Reduced logistics space – the folded configuration helps optimise space in the warehouse and during transport.
  • Storage stacking – stack up to 4 folded platforms to make better use of available storage space.
  • Transport stacking – arrange folded platforms in 2 stacks of 2 to optimise loading space.

FAQ

TUP S is the standard version with a bolted construction, allowing transport and storage either assembled or disassembled into components. Assembled platforms can be stacked up to 3 high during storage and 2 high during transport. When disassembled, up to 4 platforms can be stacked during both storage and transport.TUP FL features folding guardrails for a compact configuration. Platforms with folded guardrails can be stacked up to 4 high during storage and arranged in 2 stacks of 2 platforms during transport. Both versions offer a load capacity of up to 4,000 kg, three nominal widths - 1.25 m, 1.50 m and 2.20 m - and two installation methods: between building tiers or anchored to the slab. The permissible load for each installation depends on the mounting configuration, the supporting structure and, where used, the props and their extension. It must be verified against the technical documentation.

The use of supports in the TUP platform depends on the adopted assembly method and the operating conditions of the structure.Supports are required when the platform is installed by strutting between floors. Where full anchoring to the slab is not possible, installation with supports may be considered, provided the supporting structure and selected supports can carry the required loads. For TUP FL, the installation instructions specify a height between floors of 2,800–4,000 mm when using the recommended Peri PEP Ergo D-400 supports. Other suitable supports may allow different installation heights. The permissible platform load depends on the selected supports and their extension, so both the installation height and the planned load must be checked when selecting supports. In the case of assembly by strutting between floors (assembly with supports), the supports constitute a load-bearing element of the structure. In the case of assembly by anchoring to the slab (assembly without supports), the use of supports is not required, provided that adequate load-bearing capacity and correct anchoring of the structure are ensured. The selected solution should be determined at the project planning stage and adapted to site conditions in accordance with the platform’s technical documentation.

Specify the planned load, the type and dimensions of materials, storey height, slab thickness and load-bearing capacity, and the preferred installation method. Transport and storage requirements also help determine whether to choose TUP S or TUP FL. This information provides the basis for selecting the appropriate version, platform width (1.25 m / 1.50 m / 2.20 m) and system configuration.

Yes. The platform can be used both during early structural works and during later finishing works. Thanks to the available assembly variants and the possibility of adapting the configuration, the system performs well in changing conditions on the construction site.

Yes. The permitted stacking arrangement depends on the platform version and configuration:- TUP S, assembled: up to 3 platforms during storage and 2 during transport.- TUP FL, with folded guardrails: up to 4 platforms during storage and 2 stacks of 2 platforms during transport.Stacking must follow the platform’s technical documentation.

Both TUP S and TUP FL can be supplied with props selected for the installation method and height. For installation by anchoring to the slab, the customer provides the anchoring elements. The required configuration and scope of supply should be confirmed when ordering.

Yes. Direct delivery to the construction site can be arranged. TUP S can be transported assembled or disassembled into components, while TUP FL’s folding guardrails provide a compact transport configuration. Delivery details should be agreed when ordering.

Yes. The platforms can be painted in various colours to match your company branding, and the sheet metal guardrail infill panels can feature your logo. TUP S without infill also offers the option of adding a branded tarpaulin.
