Expansion of gas infrastructure in French Polynesia

A new gas sphere is under construction in Papeete, aiming to increase gas storage capacity by 50% in 2025. The new structure, which is more than twice the size of the existing one, will enhance supply management efficiency and significantly improve LPG storage safety.

TLC’s contribution to the project

TLC is supplying an access system and steel helical stairs for this investment, ensuring safe operation of the new installation. The high-quality steel and anti-corrosion protection in the form of hot-dip galvanization guarantee the durability of the structure and resistance to demanding operating conditions.

Steel spiral in collaboration with TISSOT Industrie

In cooperation with TISSOT Industrie, we designed a spiral cage, the key element of which is the steel stairs provided by TLC. The client was responsible for manufacturing the steel casing (pylon), an integral part of the entire structure. Additionally, a support structure was installed on the stairs connecting the pylon to the upper platform to support the tank pipelines, ensuring the stability and safety of the entire installation.
