TUP – crane loading platform

The TUP crane loading platform is a temporary crane loading platform designed to facilitate the transport, loading and unloading of materials on multi-storey construction sites. Installed on the building structure, the platform creates a dedicated unloading area for materials delivered by crane, supporting efficient material handling and site organisation. The TUP crane loading platform is developed and manufactured by TLC for construction projects requiring safe material handling.

The TUP platform can also be used as a temporary storage area for construction materials, helping organise work zones and maintain a smooth flow of materials throughout the project.

The TUP System is delivered in components and assembled on site using a bolted construction. This solution reduces transport volume, simplifies logistics and supports cost-effective transport to construction projects.

The platform is available in three widths — 1.25 m, 1.50 m and 2.20 m — allowing the appropriate platform to be selected for different project requirements. The TUP crane loading platform can be installed between building tiers or by anchoring to the slab, depending on the selected installation method and project conditions.

Key features of the TUP crane loading platform

  • Crane loading platform with a workload of up to 4000 kg – intended for crane-assisted loading and unloading of construction materials on multi-storey construction sites.
  • Compliant with PN-EN 12811 – developed for temporary working platforms used during construction works and material handling operations.
  • Three platform width options – available in 1.25 m, 1.50 m and 2.20 m, allowing the crane loading platform to be selected according to project requirements.
  • S355 steel structure with aluminium 5754 H22 platform – combining a steel structure with aluminium platform sections for construction site use.
  • Two assembly methods – the crane loading platform can be installed between building tiers or by anchoring to the slab, depending on project requirements.
  • Bolted construction – delivered in components and assembled on site, helping reduce transport volume and supporting efficient transport, assembly and dismantling.
  • Transport in assembled or disassembled configuration – allowing the transport method to be adapted to project logistics and site requirements.
  • Optimised storage and transport – up to 3 platforms can be stacked during storage and 2 during transport, helping optimise storage space and transport efficiency.

  • Supports loading and unloading of construction materials – facilitating material transport between building tiers and improving construction site logistics.
  • Hot-dip galvanisation and powder coating – provide corrosion protection for steel components used in demanding construction environments.
  • Dedicated attachment points for personal fall protection equipment – allow safety harnesses to be attached where required by site procedures and risk assessment.
  • Advertising canvas available – customer branding can be applied on tarpaulin or mesh advertising canvas using the mounting points prepared by the manufacturer.

FAQ

The use of supports in the TUP platform depends on the adopted assembly method and the operating conditions of the structure.Supports are required in particular in the following cases: – operation of the platform during assembly between floors, when the height between floors is within a specified range of approx. 2800–4000 mm in the case of the recommended support, – when there is no possibility of direct transfer of loads to the slab structure (assembly without the possibility of full anchoring). In the case of assembly by strutting between floors (assembly with supports), the supports constitute a load-bearing element of the structure. In the case of assembly by anchoring to the slab (assembly without supports), the use of supports is not required, provided that adequate load-bearing capacity and correct anchoring of the structure are ensured. The selected solution should each time be determined at the design stage and adapted to site conditions.

In order to select the platform, the following should be specified: storey height, slab thickness and load-bearing capacity, assembly method (anchoring or supports), planned load and the type of transported materials. On this basis, the appropriate variant (1.25 m / 1.5 m / 2.2 m) and system configuration are selected.

Yes. The platform can be used both during early structural works and during later finishing works. Thanks to the available assembly variants and the possibility of adapting the configuration, the system performs well in changing conditions on the construction site.

The platform can be delivered with supports enabling its assembly. Assembly to the slab using anchors requires the anchoring elements to be arranged on the customer’s side.Depending on the selected configuration and site conditions, the system can be used with or without supports – they are selected individually according to the assembly method and the operating height.

Yes. The platform can be delivered directly to the construction site. Depending on the transport logistics and site conditions, it is delivered as a complete structure ready for assembly or in disassembled form, which facilitates transport and unloading.
